My mom person has taken to calling my “nubbin butt”. Since I live in the US my tail got cut off when I was one day old, before my people had a chance to say they wanted me to keep my tail. (Thank goodness they didn’t cut my ears, too!)
The technical name for what’s left of my tail is nubbin. However, I think addressing me as nubbin butt is just rude. I don’t walk around calling her jiggly butt, now do I?

Oskar, I’m sorry you got your tail docked when you were just a wee lad. My boys, Charlie and Sammy, were born with nubbin tails. Sammy can’t even wag his. Charlie can a little tiny bit – it’s more like a crank than a wag.
On a positive note, at least you don’t have one of those ungainly tails that when wagged knocks a bunch of stuff off of every surface in the house.
Hi Oskar! I am a mini schnauzer too and my mom has been reading your blog to me. Nubbin butt?! It just astounds me the things we schnauzers are forced to put up with on a daily basis.
