Walkies!

I took my mom person for a walk today. I thought she needed to get out of the house.

Are you coming, or what?

I have to say she got pretty annoying pretty quickly. She kept wanting to walk! I tried to explain to her that everything out here needs to be sniffed!

This is a view of one end of the meadow behind my yard.

The other end is waaaaaay down there.

I’m trying to explain to her that everything from one end to the other needs to be sniffed, peed on, rolled in or eaten. She’s just not trained to walk very well yet.

Here’s my back yard.

Inside of the fence is where I usually patrol from.

Finally I took her home. She was worn out.

Once we got inside, I let her give me a cookie since I was nice enough to take her out.

Hopefully I can get her leash trained soon!

Awards To Share!

Some of my new friends Mack & Sally Ann created their own award featuring the always handsome Mack, an American Eskimo. His baby sister Sally Ann is a very cute, very well dressed Welsh Terrier. Thank you so much for thinking of me when you gave out your homemade award.

They said that the recipients of this award can do anything they want with it, so I would like to pass it on to a couple of my newest blog friends.

Riley & Star my two new maltese friends. They are the adorable white fluffies.

Nellie & Calvert two great miniature schnauzer friends.

From Mango a big loveable brute of a mastiff (and champion drooler) and his baby brother (who he calls a Labradork) Dexter passed on the Daisy Award.

I have been instructed to
1) Put this award on my blog and a link to who gave it to me.
2) Give a nod to the
purple hatter.
3) Tag five other doggies who you just can’t get enough of. Here goes…

Carolina at Brinkbeest in English. My mom person & I are so glad that they are back to blogging.

Brutus the Frenchie who we love even though he is an Ohio State fan.

Hamish & Yuna. Hamish is a adorable wiry terrier type of doggie (I’m sorry Hamish, I’m not sure what kind!). Yuna is his Shar Pei little sister.

Norwood, a crazy Blue Heeler Jack Russell Terrier mix.

Santa and her dog friends that sometimes share her blog. Santa has the best ears ever!

And just so you don’t miss me, here’s a picture of me relaxing on my nest today!

Security Detail

*My mom person isn’t feeling well, so this is a re-run post for today’s Camera Critters.

As a schnauzer, part of my job is to patrol my yard to protect my toys my people. I have stopped birds, devil squirrels & once even a rouge Taco Bell bag that was coming through the meadow towards our house!

I need to look around. Notice the precision of my head turns.

When things get really hairy, sometimes camouflage is necessary to foil my enemies.

Schnauzer Spotlight

Being the generous and loyal friend that I am, I wanted to have a way to share all of my bloggy friends with you.

My mom person says that I have to tell you that I am totally stealing this idea from my friend Diane at Good Mourning Glory, but she’s super cool & we’re pretty sure she won’t mind.

Each month I will pick one of my bloggie friends to be in the Schnauzer Spotlight. They won’t all be schnauzers, they won’t all be dogs, & they won’t even all be animals.

Around the first of every month I’ll post a new friend in my spotlight for you to get to know better. The first Schnauzer Spotlight has to be for my friends JD & Max, so go say Hi!
