There’s Only So Much A Schnauzer Can Take

O.K. we’ve already established that Buster is back & making himself at home on my nest. But today, he crossed the line.

Here’s a shot of his perfectly good food and water dishes. Notice how he has lots of food that I’m not allowed to eat.

Well, he decided to take a sip of my water. I was good with that. Notice the food bowl next to it.

Then this happened!

Look! Look what he did!

Sometimes it’s all too much for a little dog to take. *sigh*

At least my mom person fixed the nest situation by offering Buster a feather pillow.

My mom person says that he is old & we have to leave him alone and be extra nice to him. He won’t even play with me in the yard. It’s gonna be a long week.

  1. Oh Oskar, we are sorry your visitor ate your food and drank your water. The nerve! You need to convince your Mommy that you need more food since he stole yours!

  2. Oh Oskar, you have been so good to Buster…He must love your food more than his own. We schnauzers are good and patient dogs.

  3. You are such a kind & understanding Schnauzer – to put up with this horrendous situation!
THank dawg it's only for one week – cause we gotta be on our guard all the time in our house!

Sometimes – Schatzi will help herself to Xena's bowl of kibble – but Mamma is usually close by to nudge her out of it!

No one – (or anyone who is smart) – would DARE to sneak into Oskar's bowl here! lol!

    ((hugs)) your friends

  4. Oskar –

We are going to nominate you for the next Nobel Peace Prize; we're sure that the sacrifices you'll endure this week will clinch the award.

Think of it this way, when you get to be Buster's age you'll want someone to be patient with you too. 😉

    Paws-out our dear Oskar.

  5. That Buster is pretty sneaky to eat your food. You better eat quick next time so he doesn't steal it again.

  6. Poor Oskar. You can come visit us, but I can't promise that I might not want to sample your food…. Mom says I eat like a vacuum cleaner!!

  7. Aww…sorry to hear that Buster ate your food, Oskar! Did you manage to eat HIS food? I mean, it's only fair that you exchanged foods, right? You are so sweet though to not fight with him…*grins*

  8. OH my God, Oskar – I think you're a saint!!! Letting another dog eat your food like that – and he won't even play with you! Humph!!

Still, he does look like he needs a bit of TLC so it is very nice of you to share your home (and your food!).

I hope your human is giving you extra cuddles & treats for being such a good boy!

  9. A week is FOREVER! How will you survive? I eat outside whenever possible to keep stupid pee-wee from taking all my foodables.

  10. You are such an understanding little guy, but Buster is old (and like Java) he probably forgets he has already eaten.
