The Buster Blues
He’s back. Again. It’s not enough that Buster’s back, look where he’s laying!!!
Here’s a closer look.
He’s on my pillow from my buddies JD & Max! There I am being good, nobly lying by and allowing him to be on my pillow, while I’m over here. I may be pouting a little…I wouldn’t look at my mom person & her stoopid flashy box.
But guess what? Buster went home today & I got an extra special treat for being so good.

Delicious doggie ice cream. I waited very patiently for my treat.

I guess it’s not so bad when he comes, as long as there are special treats for me after!
** Please go send Digby some prayers if your haven’t already. He is having a very bad struggle against a tick bite & really needs all of our prayers and pawsitive energy.
Also Paco is having trouble recovering from a bad injury. It keeps getting infected. Please go send him some love, too.

I’ve been very lucky to have gotten 2 new awards this past week.
The beautiful Samantha the golden gave me the very appropriate Golden Cup Award
The also beautiful Santa the miniature schnauzer passed on the Sunshine Award.
I’m supposed to pass on the Golden Cup Award to 5 friends and the Sunshine Award to 12 friends, but being a miniature schnauzer I don’t always follow the rules if I don’t feel like it.
I want to pass both of these awards to all of my friends. Maybe it’s lame to do it that way, but I love way too many bloggers to pick & choose. Please accept my awards with love & leave me a comment if you take it an pass it on!

Camera Critters
Yesterday started out o.k., but by evening it had dropped to 44 degrees! I settled back into my winter routine very quickly.
Yep, snuggled up under my quilt with everything but my schnozzle snuggled under the blanket! Come back spring!

Date Night!
Well Twix is hosting a date night on April 17th. I found out about it from a furrend who shall remain nameless and I wanted to ask the prettiest Welsh terrier girl in the world if she would go with me. Ahem…um..Sally Ann, would you be my date for Twix’s Date Night???
I’m sorry I didn’t ask sooner, but my mom person was at University of Michigan hospital earlier this week trying to figure out why she keeps getting sickie.
So anyway, I know it’s late notice, and a girl as pretty and smart as you might not be able to go on such short notice, but I’m hoping that you’ll agree to be my date for Twix’s party on Saturday.

The Search For JD & Max!
Two of my very best friends are JD & Max, the fantastic schnauzer brothers from the U.K. Since we’ve met, I’ve been told that JD & Max live “on the other side of the pond”, so visits were not possible.
Well my mom person & I went camping later this week & guess what I found?
It’s the pond!! Finally I’ve found it. I can find my friends & we can eat tea & crumpets & discuss Camilla’s latest hats!
JD & Max live on the other side of the pond. We’re on this side & all we have to do is get to the other side.
Come on, woman, me lads are waitin’!
OK, I’m on this side of the pond, now to find our way to the other side…
Let’s head this way.
OK, let’s see where we are.
Hmm, we’ve walked part of the way around, but we’re still on this side. I can see the other side.
Let’s see if I can smell JD & Max while I work my way around to the other side.
Oh man! This doesn’t make sense. We’re back to where we started, but I was never able to get to the other side. Everywhere I go I’m still on this side!
Oh bother.
Camping Stories, Part 1
So my mom person & I took off for the great outdoors and had a great time. I have lots of adventures to share with you including my journey to find JD & Max, but we’ll get to that in a day or so.
The start of the trip started out in a most undignified way for me. I don’t have a carseat yet, so I had to be strapped into my crate. You can’t see it in this picture, but my crate was fastened to the seat.
Once we got there there was a ton of pee-mail to check out.
There were even some signs of spring, among all of last years fallen leaves.
Wait, I smell something familiar…
Right here next to me. It’s the elusive wild red chewy toy in it’s natural wild life setting. I need to be still so as not to let it know that I have found it and am about to pounce.
Rawr! I make my move & quickly wrestle the chewy into submission.
It even has one of my favorite treats inside…I wonder how this got here?
Ah-ha, sweet victory is mine!
I think now that I’ve vanquished my first wild predator, it’s time for a little rest.
No, your not imagining things, my mom person’s socks are in fact mis-matched. She actually buys them that way *cookoo-cookoo*
