International Box Day

Since it’s International Box Day & I don’t do boxes, I thought that I would let Moe be in the spotlight today.  She loves this box & has a little ball that stays in it that she rolls around.  Sounds boring to me, but whatever!

Uh-oh, here comes Chloe wanting to have some box fun too!

There you have it folks, International Box Day Moe style!

I’m One Lucky Dog!

So you may have heard that yesterday was my birthday.  I had to wait for my dad person to come home before I could have my presents.  This is how I felt about that.

Then the UPS man came with a package addressed to ME!  OMG, it from my blogging buddies JD & Max & their wonderful female human, Clare.

Once he got home we broke into my loot from my friends.  Holy cow look at all of this stuff!

The first thing that caught my eye was the yellow ball that makes cool noises.  It’s made out of hard plastic so that my jaws of steel can’t destroy it.  I had to take it into the yard immediately!

Next I had to try out one of the BBQ squirrels they sent.  BBQ squirrels, it’s like a dream come true!

Next I had to try the birthday cupcake squeaky toy.

It’s pawsome just like everything else they sent.  Thank you so very much JD, Max & Clare!

Now onto the presents from my people.  First I opened the squeaky warthog.

Then I got some foam to go into my kong, some Buddy Berries to go in my Squirrel Dude & some Greenies.  Are you even keeping up with all of this loot?

I spent the evening going back and forth trying to chew on my cupcake and warthog at the same time.

I’ve got to tell you that 6 was my best birthday ever.  So many of my friends came by to give me birthday wishes & that made everything perfect, so thanks to you all.

It’s My Birthday!

Since I’m now more mature than yesterday, my mom person told me I could wait to have my presents until my dad person comes home.  Even though I can’t show you my presents yet, I can show you what a beautiful baby I was!

It’s no wonder I grew up to be excessively handsome, right?

Check back tomorrow to check out all of my birthday loot!

My Last Day Being 5

Well since I’m going to be 6 tomorrow, I figured I’d better take full advantage of my last day as a 5 year old.  6 just seems so much more mature, doesn’t it?

I’m sniffing out every inch of my yard to make sure all is in order.  I’m sure the celebration that will happen tomorrow will take all of my energy, so I have to be extra cautious to make sure everything is secure.

Plus I figure being outside gives my mom person all the time necessary to turn my house into a birthday wonderland.

How do you prepare for your birthday’s?

Sickies & Ask The Vet

We are behind in our blogging & visiting because my mom person’s chronic stomach condition is really not cooperating or playing nice.  She has been most useless lately, BOL.

I’ve been snuggled up on the couch with her trying to fix her.

I’m so devoted that I’m even napping without her, just to keep in practice.

She really wants all of you to know how much your well wishes and prayers mean to her.  It really does help more than we can tell you.

She does have a Skype interview scheduled tomorrow with Dr. Marci Campion, Iams Scientific Relations Manager.  We’re going to be talking dog food so if you have any questions you’d like me to ask her about dog or cat food, leave them in the comments and we’ll see how many we can fit in.

We’re going to try to hop over to all of your blogs this afternoon and see what you’ve all been up to.

First Annual Picnic in the Park Bug House – Part 3

We are pleased to announce that the dunk tank & sack race portions of the picnic are now up and running at Paws of Peace.  All donations for those two events will go towards Charlies vet bills.  If you need a break after this last leg of the bug house be sure to head on over for great fun for a great cause!  JD, Max & thier female human Clare, have worked super hard to get these events going, so please head over and check them out.  They’ll be running all week.

Now for the last installation of our creepy bugs.  Ladies if you’re swooning ask a male escort to walk you through the bug house to help keep your pretty little heads from worrying.  I have to tell you all that this was a mean trick that I played on my mom person when I volunteered to host the bug house cause she HATES bugs & squirmy critter, BOL.

The Booker Man has sent in the cool lizard that likes to hang out on his moms gardenias.

Brad from the Meow Factor had fun catching this cockroach for us!

Ellie from Kitty Tracks sent in these two.

Sammy, Andy & Shelly have sent in their favorite bug!

Fenris shared this huge spider with us

And also this snakeapiller

Look at his fangs!

If any of these bugs get out of hand we have Kozmo the Buginator to save us!

Blogville Mayor Frankie Furter Price got up close & person with this worm!

Dexter & Louis from Schnauzer Days corralled this Hawk Moth.  This one almost sent my mom person over the edge, BOL!

We want to thank you for your patronage of the bug house.  Please make sure to visit all of the other picnic sites, especially Paws of Peace, to help out Charlie!
