Toads!

In this picture, I may or may not be looking for a toad to lick.

Below, my mom person, may or may not be telling me that when I lick toads I foam at the mouth & throw up on my woozle.

Naturally, I may or may not be telling her that toads are delicious & live only for me to lick them.

I may or may not have been grounded and made to come inside!

I may or may not be talking to some people this afternoon!

  2. I can't say I have met any toads – is licking them a form of greeting or something????? It sure doesn't sound all that pleasant. I think I pass on saying hello to one.

  3. Oskar, maybe it might be better if you just nose them a bit. Or push them around. I'd hate you to get sick……or grounded.

  5. Oskar that's a lot of mays and may nots concerning toads. We take you really love lickin' toads. We haven't seen any here this year…too hot we guess. Hugs and nose kisses

  7. Mommy is laffin and laffin! She's reminded of an episode of "Family Guy" where the kids lick toads. Actually, there IS a hallucinogenic-secreting species of toad.
    Maybe toads for you is like nip for us!

  14. My previous dog, Roy, licked a toad once and foamed and foamed and threw up. Of course this had to happen at night so we had to get our vet to do an emergency visit and boy was he cranky!

  15. Toad licking? Hmmm! That is interesting… I have never tasted toad before … but everything is worth trying once!

  16. You got to watch out with amphibians…Lucy had a really bad case of hiccups after she killded our frog. Don't think that will stop her doing it again tho… any ways we still waiting to hear if she goin' to prison…lol.

    I have lots of toads in my neck of the woods, but I never wanted to lick one. Since you seem to enjoy it so much, perhaps I should give it a try!

  18. Chloe loves going frog hunting. She licked & even picked up one of them once. She started licking & foaming in the mouth like crazy. My hoomies washed her mouth with water & also wiped her tongue clean with baby wipes. BOL!

  21. Hmmmm…I've never actually licked a toad before. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever even SEEN a toad before. But, well, foaming at the mouth? I hate to say it, Oskar, but I might have to side with your mom on this one.
