My First Card Of The Season

Sometimes I feel bad for my peeps, cause I have so many pawsome friends & they don’t.  I got like a million holiday cards last year & it’s already started again this year!

Look our friend, Sweet William The Scot was the first to arrive in my mailbox this year.  His picture is even on the envelope.

Hopefully me people will start to get cards soon so they don’t feel too bad, BOL!

I’d also like to say that someone is trying to juggle too many balls at once & we are again behind at visiting and commenting.  I’ve made her promise to let me get caught up soon.

Where I’ll Be For The Rest Of The Weekend

I love when my Christmas quilt comes out.  It’s the snuggliest one ever and it’s huge enough to warm us all.  It was made with love by my mom person’s mother, Monnie, & quilted by her grandmother, aunts & cousins.

If you need me this winter, you’ll know where to find me.  Now I just need to smuggle Blue in to cuddle with me.

Sarge’s Give Us The Bird

Sarge, Blogville’s Chief of Police, is having a Give Us The Bird Week & we wanted to share a  couple of differet birds that are here today.

Here is a bird who has seen better days, getting ready to be made in delicious stock & soup.

But my new FAVORITE bird came today, my Hartz Angry Birds Plush Ball.  A nice lady from Hartz offered to send us some Angry Bird toys to review & giveaway on Pet Blogs United, and this yellow bird rocks!  They even sent some kitty toys, so we’ll let you know what we think.

I wanna thank Sarge for hosting this great event, stop on over & check it out!

Dachshund Nola is a lot of fun to read about!

And of course we have to welcome the newsest black miniature schnauzer puppy to Blogville.  You can meet him at …Along Came Rupert.

Go pay these new friends a visit & give them a big Blogville welcome!

*Sigh*

I got groomed today.  I must have been super-duper bad because after my grooming I got this again.

My mom person says I look pitiful enough in these 2 pictures, that she won’t put these on me again except for maybe once.  I maybe believe her.

You can however see my new H. L. Whitingham collar.

Here’s a nice picture of it without the humiliation piled on.

The day ended well with our first mini game of Chase-It.  We’ll be doing a review & giveaway of this on Pet Blogs United soon.

My dad person calls it Fishing For Oskars!

This makes up a little bit for the grooming, but not for those horrible antlers!

Metro-Detroit Pet Expo & Frankies Puppy Ernie!

My people decided to go to the Metro-Detroit Pet Expo yesterday.  I was not allowed to go because I am not very well socialized.  Since my mom person has been sick for a while we don’t get out much.  We all decided it was best for me not to go since all the people and other dogs would make me too stressy.

The place was pretty big and bright.  It was mostly rescue groups, not too many vendors selling pet related things, which disappointed my people a little.

There were dressed up dogs,

Dock diving dogs,

Mango sized dogs,

And even baby dogs that look like Frankies new puppy, Ernie.

My dad met a lovely lady dog & got some extra lovin’.

And then my mom got to pay a dollar to kiss a most loving and sweet pit bull girlie.  My moms head is thrown back from the big slurp & you can see that this pibbles ears have been cut off with scissors.  This made everybody sad inside, but that pibble was just as loving and happy as could be.  We can’t all people be good like dogs?

My mom person met lots of people from foster groups and told them about Pet Blogs United & our Foster Friday posts, so that they can get some of their pets featured.

It made them sad that they couldn’t help take any animals home, but they left some green papers to help a little.

I hope next year I’ll be socialized enough to be able and mingle with other furiends!

Did you do anything fun this weekend?
