Fun Blog Party Coming Up!

Our friends Ronnii, Uji, & Izzy are hosting a great blog party on 11/26 & 11/27. It’s for all of us who have been around Blogville for awhile to get to know those newbies like Frankie’s puppy Ernie.

We want to give a warm welcome to the new residents of Blogville, so if you’re interested in participating, new or old, check out their post.

What do you mean there’s a leaf on my woozle?

You can’t fool me, I’m a very astute dog who keeps his woozle meticulous at all times!

Obviously I would know if there was a leaf hangning from my face.

Multi-tasking With My Dad Person

When we got up this morining, I tried to get my dad person to help me blog, but you can see by his sleepy eyes that he was not up for it.

So I agreed to help him read the paper (sometimes he gets stuck on the big words).

From this perch I can still watch my back yard for Devil squirrels.

I’ve already chased off two of them!

Whatever you’re doing today, I hope it involves family & fun.

Oh No, Snow!

Yesterday I looked out my window & saw THIS!

Blue is out there, he must be freezing!

C’mon, Blue let check this out.

Ugh, it’s coming from over here too!

OK, here’s the deal. I know some of your doggies get crazy-happy over the snow, so you let me know where you live & I’m going to send all of my snow your way, OK?

Today I also want to thank all of the veterans who have kept us all safe. From my mom person’s grandpa who drove a tank during WWII, to her dad who was drafted during Vietnam, but luckily spent all of his service time stateside, to the young man or woman our John’s age who is fighting for us right now, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Playing With Blue & My Mom Person

I’m tryin’ to get my mom person out of the house more, since our light is fading fast. She’s not too thrilled with these photo’s of herself, but it’s my blog, so I insisted!

She tries & fails to get Blue from me. I don’t really do the fetch part of fetching, bol!

Now she’s trying to trick me into trading Blue for my propeller.

Kick it far!!

Playing with my mom person & Blue, and getting to scatter all the fall leaves…it doesn’t get much better.

Adoptable Friends Ronan & Ailene

Our friends Mayzie & her brudder Ranger are hosting rescue me week on her blog. You could win $100 for your favorite rescue just by featuring a pet who currently needs adopting!

We did a little looking and came up with Ronan & Ailene. They are hoping to be adopted together.

Ronan

Ronan is a neutered male DMH orange cat. Ronan is about 4 years old and current on his vaccines and feline leukemia tested and negative. He came to us with Ailene, whose picture is also on our website. It would be great if they could stay together. Ronan is a little shy at first and really didn’t care for the car ride in a carrier to his new foster home. He hid under a bed for a few days and came out at night to eat. He is doing much better now and would adjust fine in a new home after a few days. Ronan’s Petfinder page.

Ailene

Ailene is a DSH spayed, female around 2 years old. She came to us with Ronan, who you can also see on our website. If would be great if they could stay together as they have always had each other. Their owner was forced to find them another home when he moved into a place that wouldn’t allow pets. Ailene weighs about 7 pounds. She has been feline leukemia tested and is current on her vaccines. Ailene was a little afraid when she came to her foster home but is adjusting quite well and will greet you at the door of her room. Ailene’s Petfinder page.

We are sad that we can’t adopt these cute buddies, but hopefully they will find a together forever home soon!

Moe On Monday

Someone thinks the cats deserve more face time on this blog which happens to be called, “The Daily Oskar“!

Yes, Moe is playing with Chloe’s tail…fascinating.

Some people are confused by my realtionship with the cats that live here because I’m great friends with so many kitty bloggers. Well the kitty bloggers don’t swot my nose as I walk by for no apparent reason! Miss Chloe & Miss Moe do.

Hopefully tomorrow we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled Oskar.
