Cowspot Dog’s Check Your Pee-Mail Contest

My friends Reilly & Denny over at Cowspot Dog are having a Check You Pee-Mail contest.  You just need to post or send them a picture of you checking out your favorit pee-mail spot.

Here’s mine.  It’s outside at my Vet’s office.  It’s a pawsome pee-mail place because of all the dogs that visit everyday.

Ooh, it smells like a scottie, and a cocker spaniel, and a sheltie…I’m gonna be here for awhile!

I’m A Toad Licker

My name is Oskar & I’m a toad licker.  This is what happens to your woozle when you lick toads.

It’s a real problem for me.  I know I shouldn’t lick the toads, but they’re just so inviting!

Maybe the next one won’t be so tasty…

Pardon Our Dust

We are in the process of moving our blog from Blogger to Worpress.  Construction dog is working hard & my mom person is trying to remain calm.  This is a big switch.

We would love for you to follow us with NetworkedBlogs if your on Facebook.  The widget is there in the sidebar.  You can also subscribe to get e-mail updates.

On your Blogger Dashboard, click the grey ADD button.

You’ll see a window pop up that looks like this.

In the box I circled, type in www.OskarsBlog.com and then click the orange follow button.

That’s all there is to it.  Now anytime I update my blog it will show up on your Blogger Dashboard.

I love all of my blogging friends and hope that you will follow me to my new WordPress home!

Happy Frankie Furter Day!

The genius doggies over at K9 Katastrophie decided that we should all get together to celebrate our wonderful Mayor of Blogville Frankie Furter!

Frankie is always there for every pup & every kit, with announcements, fun events, and great comments on all of his friends blogs.  He makes all the new kids on the block feel welcomed and runs Blogville better than any other Mayor I’ve ever heard of.

Not to mention he is an amazing mentor and big brother to little Ernie, teaching him how to be a gentleman dog all while keeping his two beautiful wives happy.

They broke the mold when they make Frankie and we are forever thankful to call him a friend.

Frankie, we dedicate, this, our 600th post to you pal.  You are 87 million percent cool!

Under Construction!

My mom person is taking the leap and moving my blog to WordPress this weekend.  I don’t know what will happen, except probably a lot of HBO words & a lot of phone calls to the amazing lady owned by Skeezix the cat, who is foolishly helping my mom person with this endeavor.

I have no idea what this site will look like as this happens so wish us luck!

Meet Iams Play Young Stay Young Honorable Mention Winner Chief

My good friends at Iams are celebrating their new Iams Senior Plus diets with a contest

Here is the story of Chief, who has earned the “Honorable Mention” title in the “Play Young, Stay Young” contest because he’s a dog that refuses to act his age.

Isn’t he adorable?  Chief, who is 11 years old, lives in Columbia, MO with his mom Amanda.

“My dog Chief is 11 & ½ years old and has just as much spunk as when I got him at 2 years old! He’s a black-colored mutt with not a bit of white/graying around his face or anywhere on his body. He still wakes me up at 6am to go out for his morning outing to run around hunting birds and squirrels. He loves chasing my cat around the house and never seems to get tired. He hasn’t slowed down a bit since the day I got him and has never had any health problems. He acts like a puppy!”

If you’re interested, each week until June 3rd, the team at Iams will select one dog and one cat 11 years of age or older (9 years of age or older if your dog is a large breed) that refuses to act their age. Just submit a current picture of your cat or dog and tell Iams how or why they refuse to act their age.

I Like To Be Funky!

Isn’t my chair funky?

My boy John brought it home & replaced the old chair in front of my boys’ computer table with it.  My mom person didn’t know at first that it was garbage picked & by the time she found out, it had already lived here too long.

My mom says it makes our living room look like a frat house, but with 2 teenage boys, it really does anyway.

In case you’re wondering, I’m wearing my new Storm Defender cape.  I’ll be reviewing it on Pet Blogs United shortly, but the long & short of it is that it works great!

Let me get in another quick plug for Pet Blogs United.  If you’re a newer reader and you didn’t know it’s a blog designed to spotllight other pet blogs!  You can click on the link above to check it out and you can also find us on FaceBook & Twitter

While we mainly feature other blogs on PBU, I’m featured there a lot in reviews!

Have a great day.

Bath Time Oskar Style

Someone had to have a bath this weekend.  It wasn’t too bad though because they used some new Royal Pet Club Mediterranean Sea Breeze shampoo and conditioner on me.  It smells more like boy stuff, so I didn’t come out smelling like a fruit salad this time.

Then they let me outside & came at me with the towel of doom.  I have to warn you what happened next is not pretty.

In the end I emerge victorious and smelling like a sea breeze.  Watch for our review of Royal Pet Club shampoo & conditioner on Pet Blogs United later this week.
