He’s Not Here, He’s There!

My oldest boy, John David, moved to another place.  A place that isn’t here. My boys live here, that’s how it’s supposed to work.

But John isn’t following the rules and now he lives there instead of living here.

There is an hour away from here.  Let me remind you that here is where my boys are supposed to be. Here with me, Oskar.

Now that John lives there this happened.

charlotteThis is called Charlotte and lives with my boy there.

This is my boy’s leg & that is not me by his leg.

This is how I feel.

My mom person says that my boy John is 21 and this is what happens, but I know that what is supposed to be happening is for John to be living here instead of there, with me instead of that.  My mom person knows that too, because she has been very sad since John left here and went there.

If you need me I’ll be here waiting for my boy to come back from there. *Sigh*

  1. Remember Oskar… whether HERE or THERE he will ALWAYS be YOUR boy!! Even with Charlotte… YOU will always be FURST. It isn’t Wonderful butt it IS Okay… Your Boy has grown Up.

  2. Oh Oskar, how are you going to protect him? How will you be sure he gets snuggles when he’s sad. Cats can’t do that! We’re sure he’ll miss you LOADS!

Sometimes boys have to come ‘here’ often to get their mums to wash their dirty laundry..

  3. Howdy Oskar, we know exactly how you feel mate. Our two sissys live there and not here BUTT they now have Tyler and Jinx so we are happy we have cousins to play with. Still, mum was sad too when they left. BUTT (again) they are just around the corner and always pop over or mum pops over there (Just like Everybody Loves Raymond, hehehe). We bet that Charlotte doesn’t like tummy stritches like you do mate. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  4. Oh Mr. Oskar, it must be hard to have your boy living there and not with you! My mom says that our boy will do that someday too. She says it’s called “growing up”, like Mr. Frankie said. It seems like a bad idea to me. But maybe Miss Charlotte will play with you when you visit your boy!

(Pee.S. Mom says SHE doesn’t think growing up is a very good idea for boys either.)

  5. I know just how you feel Oskar. I don’t even like it when my family goes away just for a little while. I hope you get to visit him soon. Try to swipe on of his shirts so at least you can smell him.

  6. Oh Oskar, it’s tough isn’t it? We are really sorry that you have a two legged one you love living there instead of here It’s not fair is it? It’s what two legged ones do though. BUT, on the plus side – just think of the AMAZING reunions you will have when he comes back here from there!! Chin up, buddy, we know it’s tough.
