You guys know how much my mom person loves me right?
Well here’s some more proof. Since we only have a little crate & my peeps didn’t want to spend green papers to buy a large crate my mom person made our whole sunporch into a safe area for me.
She blocked off the couch so I can’t get up on it & brought up this mattress to be her new “office” so we can hang out together.
I like my little crate for sleeping in, it’s cozy, but I can spend the rest of the day laying with one of my peeps on this mattress.
They had to increase my sedative, because hey I’m a schnauzer. Sedate is not really my thing!
My peeps are so pawsome that when I sleep in my little crate at night at least one of them sleeps down here with me. Last night my dad person slept on the couch & my mom person slept on this mattress. That keeps me from feeling lonely.
2 days down only 12 to go!

Awww pal – you look like a “mellow fellow.” This is probably harder on your humans than it is on you. M had to crate a kitty for a month and kitty did fine – mom didn’t! I know it’s hard for us pals to understand what the humans are doing to us sometimes, but your humans are trying everything possible to make this easier for you. Oskar…me and you could be related when it deals with sedation…A few years ago…really can’t remember the exact number…I had to go 3 1/2 hours away from home and be driven to a university campus to have a surgery for my elongated palate. I was sedated on the journey home and neither of my mommies could keep me down. The sedative actually had a more caffeinated affect on me. BOL!! Good work with getting them to bring down the mattress to hang out with you!!

Hey Oskar. It seems that you are doing pretty well. Chooey was in crate rest for more than 2 weeks. It drove her crazy. She has a crate as small as yours. The doctor said it should be small to lessen movement.
You be good. It was really nice for your mom and dad to take turns staying by your side.
