*My mom person isn’t feeling well, so this is a re-run post for today’s Camera Critters.

As a schnauzer, part of my job is to patrol my yard to protect my toys my people. I have stopped birds, devil squirrels & once even a rouge Taco Bell bag that was coming through the meadow towards our house!

I need to look around. Notice the precision of my head turns.

When things get really hairy, sometimes camouflage is necessary to foil my enemies.

  1. Hi Oskar – we’re glad to see it’s not as muddy with you as it was a few postings ago. We’re impressed at your skills as a leaf magnet – we thought we were good at picking up leaves but we bow to the master! With boundless admiration – JD and Max.

  2. Oh, Oskar – what a superb jog you are doing! Your humnas can rest better knowing that you are on duty!
And "devil" squirrels – they are known here as public enemy #1 (second only to "devil" kittys!

    (((hugs)) Your friends
    Oskar, Schatzi & Xena

PS – Our Mom's best friend – is owned by a "guard" Schnauzer!

  3. Love the camouflage Oskar! Try one on the tail too…my owner accused me one time of bringing the backyard in the house! sooo that really hides you good!

Keep on the lookout..those Taco Bell bags are somethin else…(you might find a treat inside! )

    See ya o’ buddy..

  4. Good job Oskar…I pride myself on being a great guard-cat…lizards are my favorite intruder. I just LOVE chasing the lizards:)

  5. Wow, you are guy that really takes your job seriously!
Our old basset guy warns others, the basset girl, however, barks ‘come on over and play’ to passerbys. She has no clue:)

  6. Well Oskar – it looks as if you've got every angle covered – well done that dog! Hope your human is feeling better now – it's good she can relax safe in the knowledge that you're in charge.

  7. Thank you for visiting my blog and for introducing me to your blog. I had a great visit! Annabelle and Shelby give you four paws up!!

  8. Tell your momma that the reason my momma put that music on her blog is because it reminds her of the love she still has for all of the dogs she has loved and lost over the years. Momma is a sap for music. When it is about love she thinks of her animals first and not another human…sigh. What's up with that☺

  9. Good job Oskar, you can also look out for the Scarlet Puppynickel this way and let me know if you see him. I am going to study your moves and try to use your techniques. I hope your Mommy feels better, snuggle with her and give her lots of kisses.

    licks and sniffs, Sasha
