My best schnauzer friends JD & Max are having a Bootie-licious contest for everyone to show off their tail feathers.
You can see that JD & Max have lovely tails.
The problem being, here in the United States it’s common practice to dock a schnauzer’s tail when he or she is just 1 day old, leaving us with nothing but a nubbin’.
Still I want to support my friends so here is my entry for the Bootie-licious contest.
Here’s me as a baby schnauzer before I grew into my nubbin.
And here’s how it looks today.

I think you look very handsome with your numb the way it is now. Somebody tried to dock my ears when I was a little baby. So my ears aren't normal looking. Mommy says that I look just fine.

Oh Oskar – I agree that docking seems very cruel and wrong…but I have to confess, I think Schnauzer nubbins are the CUTEST!!! My boyfriend, Ombre, has the most adorable little bum & nubbin! 🙂
