The Oskar Egg

This poor egg would not get to be an Easter egg.

Instead it went into here,

scrambled around like this,

and put into here!

I stopped what I was doing,

so I could try my Oskar egg.

I prefer Oskar eggs to Easter eggs anyday!

  1. Chancy would love your Oskar egg but he would eat an Easter egg too if he could get one. Hugs and nose kisses

  2. We love it when our Mom scrambles them with chicken livers and olive oil – yum, yum!

  3. Most of the Easter eggs here usually have chocolate in them, Oskar, so that's off our menu too. But we do love scrambled or over easy, or hard/soft boiled – heck we love any kind of eggs.

Maybe we need to see if we can get some with dinner:)

  4. YUMMY! Sometimes I gets eggs like that, too, but they're not called Oskar Eggs. They're called Mayzie Eggs.

  7. Oh that is much better than the silly hard boiling and coloring. Too much work for something you are just going to nom on anyway.

  8. How cute! At least the egg had a chance to make a dog happy rather than to make a paintbrush happy! I've never given Daisy (our coon hound) a cooked egg but I've seen a lot of blog moms do it so I've got to try it soon…just in time for Easter!

  9. Oh, Oskar – I think that egg had a much more honorable destiny than just ending up as any old Easter egg! 🙂

    Such a cute post!

  15. You know, Oskar, that actually looks pretty good. I wonder if my Human would cook me one of those?

Even if I didn't like it, it would fun to watch her go to all that trouble and then have me turn up my little nose at it, MOL!

  16. We kitties agree this is a tastier egg to eat than the chocie version. Our human mum loves chocolate so she might not agree!

  17. YUMMY! We've never tried that before – we think we'll ask the humans for a sample for easter, he he! Schnauzer snuggles – JD and Max.
