You may have heard of the Blogville Summer Picnic which is being held to have a blast & to help Charlie too. There will be dunk tanks, a flower show, an auction, a clown, and tons of other fun stuff including a Bug House that I will be hosting right here. The Picnic is june 17 & 18 and it’s gonna be one fun party.

What I need from you is your best bug, worm, creepy crawler pictures. You can be in the pic with the bug if you want, but you don’t have to. You can send them to me up until June 15th so that my mom person has time to get them posted for the pawty. You can send them to hoerauf at comcast dot net. Please make sure that your e-mail includes a link to your blog & your name, so that we can link back to you from the Bug House.
My mom person hates bugs, that’s why I volunteered to host this one, BOL!
Do they have to have dogs in them, too, or just pictures of bugs? I'll get Mom on it!

Mommy HaTes bugs, so when the folks built the cabin she was visiting the extension office every week with a new bug in a jar to find out if it was good or bad. We'll see if we can find any of the photos…we'll try. If not, maybe we can think something up.

My mom should be good at this one because she is NOT afraid of bugs. Possums, raccoons and other rodent like animals are a whole different story.

The Blogville Summer Picnic sounds wonderful … and when Moma saw the picture of Charlie she said, "Awwww". He looks so much like her first dog, Mitzi.
Gotta think about those bug pics … we'll try to keep Moma focused.
