On my camping adventure I spent a lot of time looking for those little tree-rats, chipmunks.

I guess if you'd caught one you would have told us. Most of the fun is in the chase!
I'm only allowed to hunt squirrels. My grandma thinks the chipmunks are cute, but the squirrels are mean to them. Of course, Mom yells at me when I'm about to actually catch one anyway.

We don't think we have ever seen a chipmunk but we sure love to chase bunnies. See any there, Oskar? And by the way, Moms always underestimate the power of the pup – you can chase every chipmunk you see, in our opinion. Hope you catch one.

Oskar, I need help getting rid of the chipmunks in my yard. They have at least 2 holes that I know of — that's their escape route. When they see me coming — they duck down in their chipmunk holes. Then they make this chirp sound — almost like they are laughing. Oh, I will have to show you a picture of their escape route — maybe you can help me outsmart them someday. Chipmunks!!!!

oh lucky you Oscar, you get to go camping and be out in the wild! I envy you! We have thousands of quarrels in Central Park but most of the time Betsy needs to be on a leash so she can't do much hunting….maybe that is a good thing now when I think about it. Enjoy your trip and be gentle with the chipmunks!
