Baby Oskar

Camera Critters Photos of all Fids

Since my mom person has been busy doing lame important things, she has not been photographing me as she should.

I thought Sharing some pictures of Baby Oskar, might be fun.  Who doesn’t love puppy pictures, right?

My birth mommy, Shelly, was an all white schnauzer who had 8 solid black puppies.  She was a very good mom.  Don’t we look funny with our white mommy?  (My daddy was all black, but I never met him.)

Here I am at 1 week old.  If you look very closely you can see I was born with a tiny white beard.  It went away very quickly.

Here I am at two weeks with my eyes open.  I didn’t understan the significance that the flashy box would have in my life, so I was a little timid.

This was our first real meal.  We wanted as much as possible, so we had to climb right in & get our fair share.

I’m the biggest one sitting right on the plate.  I was the first one born, so I was responsible to help take care of all of the other pups.  I was very responsible from an early age.  Here I am letting one of the older dogs, Madison know that we would like to learn schnauzer things from her.  She was very kind with us.

I’ll leave you of one more of me checking out grass for the first time.  Everything seemed very big to me!

Find out what all the other Camera Critters are up to & check out the Pet Blog Hop, too, because they have a way for pet bloggers to get a free bag of Pedigree dog food donated to dogs in need, just for writing a post about it!

I’m Still Here!

Wow, I’ve been gone a long time. My mom person was in the hospital again, 9 days this time. That’s a very long time in dog years!

When she’s in the hospital she takes this book that our friends JD & Max & their female human Clare sent. She uses it to track her medicines & to remember me & all of our bloggy friends.

While she was gone I was kind of lost. I’m not used to being here without her & I don’t care for it one bit!

I tried chewing on a toy.

My heart just wasn’t in it.

Photobucket

I did a partial tail-ectomy, but didn’t finish it. Totally unlike me!

Photobucket

I even hung out with Chloe waiting for her to come home.

Photobucket

Don’t tell anyone.

Photobucket

I’m so relieved that she’s home now & things can go back to normal.

Photobucket

I made her promise to spend part of the afternoon going around to see all of you!

* For any of you in the United States, my mom person is giving away 5 hardcover book by Madeleine Wickham who is some type of famous “chick-lit” author. I don’t know what chicks have to do with books, but click over to Read, Review, Repeat to enter.

What A Week!

Camera Critters
We’ve had quite a week here in Oskarville! The heat was in the high 90’s until yesterday so not too many walkies or playing.

My mom person had her birthday yesterday. My dad person got her a new computer that should work full time instead of only sometimes like the old one.

My oldest boy John got my mom person a giant blue monkey.

When I say giant blue monkey, I don’t mean a large blue monkey.
When I say giant blue monkey, I don’t mean an oversized monkey.
When I say giant blue monkey, I mean giant blue monkey.
Here is my mom person & I in the backyard with the giant blue monkey.

The giant blue monkey thought about trying to get my octopus toy, but luckily for me, he’s not very quick!

Here is my youngest boy Jack with the giant blue monkey.

My mom person says that for reference I should tell you that Jack is 5 feet, 7 inches tall.

There is a hummingbird feeder outside of the window where my person sits at her computer, and she keeps seeing hummingbirds, but can’t get a good picture of them. They’re too quick & wily for her.

Here’s a drawing I made of what it would look like if my mom person could get a picture.

(In the picture the hummingbird doesn’t have any wings, cause they flutter too fast to really be seen!)

See what all the other Camera Critters are up to.

Check out the other pet’s on the Saturday Pet Blogger Hop.
