I love hippities. It rained & I could smell them.
They come out after it rains.
Finally my mom person let me outside. I was told not to look for the hippities.
I’m innocent, honest!
Bullseye!
After all of my hard work, I was not allowed to play with the hippity! My dad person took him away. So not fair!
I agree, Oskar. That is so not fair.
every doggie needs a pet hippity!
I'm glad your dad took that guy away cuz some of those toads are poisonous! Here in FL a lot of doggies die from trying to catch them, so you just leave them alone cuz I don't want anything to happen to you.
your pal,
Bruce:)
We haveta admit – we had no clue what "hippities" were! lol! But, boy do they look like fun to try and catch!
Schatzi would love hippities, but has to settle for wormies! She loves to hunt them – especially after a good rain!
((hugs)) your friends
Oskar, Schatzi & Xena
Your daddy is being a good daddy when he takes away those hippities because it could kill you, Oskar.
Dogs should always listen to their mom and dad, even when they don't want to and even when it's really hard!☺
we were not sure what hippities were at first! hahaa! good job anyways Oskar!
You definitely do not want to sample one of those. No matter what anyone tells you, it does not taste like chicken!
We want a pet hippity.
Love Ruby & Penny
Oh me too…I can't wait to get outside to find my hippities…
One was really big and fat…that kind of worried my mom-person…
I don't know?…I've heard them talk about humans eating Frogs Legs?
and something called Escargot?
Paws Up!

As strange as it may be, I dreamed of Hippities last night – GIANT hippities! It was really scary! I bet you wouldn't like those ones! Love to you!
Oskar
I've nevew met a hippity, but I don't hink it's faiw that he was taken away..you found him aftew all and should be able to at least have some play time wif him. Bettew luck next time

Oskar, if you ever do something bad to a hippity I will scratch your name from my list of friends. The word hippity is genius and makes them even more lovely than they were when they were called toads. So, no hippityhunting!
Ooh, I've never seen a hippity! They look like fun.
My human says we have giant-sized hippities in parts of Australia, but they are poisonous, so I should stay right away, if I ever see one.
Puppy kisses
Sasha
Oskar, this is Meesha…
Mum is still feeling a bit bad about calling you Bruce… so I'm giving her snuggles to cheer her up…
It's not fair about the hippities …my Mum and Dad go bonkers when I chase one … they yell 'No, No' .. 'Leave it alone' and sometimes 'Bad Girl !!'
My Mum sat me down and explained that some frogs and toads can make me really sick and that she doesn't have a clue which type, so apparently I have to stay away from ALL of them.
I just wanted to make friends…
But, maybe they're right …we should just stay away from them..
So sad you can't even PLAY with the hippities! They look like lots of fun.
Wuv,
Gus and Waldo
Eewww! Those hippities look scary…I think you should leave them well alone! I heard that they have HUGE ones in a place called Australia – which actually is one of the few places not far away from where we are!! 🙂
