Life or Why I Haven’t Updated In So Long

My mom person has not been around to update my blog. I wish I had an allowance so I could hire someone to update my blog. Or if only I had those elusive opposable thumbs…

My mom person has had a depression, but my dad person came up with a solution. He got our motor home all ready for her to be able take off & get away for a couple of days.

It’s no Big Earl, like Brutus has,

But we love our little motor home just the same!

Now obviously my mom has to take me with her to protect her from all of the wild beasties in the woods. As you can see, I am an accomplished camper.

I have to remind my mom person to pack my most important things. My pillow from my friend Joy.

My Egyptian scarf from my bestest pals, JD & Max.

And my orange octopus from Mango.

Is it time to go yet?

I also reminded her that visiting all of our bloggie friends always makes her happy, so we’ll be by to visit soon.

  1. Hey Oskar, have a nice holiday and take good care of your Mom Person. Please tell her to take things easy and have lots of fun.

  2. You lucky dog. You watch out for those crazy critters that live in the wild. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures.

  3. Oh dear. My momma and master both get the dark days when they seem so sad for no reason.

Your camper looks plenty big for a good time. I hope the trip cheers everybody. Glad you like your toy.

  4. Hi Oskar,
I hope your Mum will get better – I'm sure you'll look after her really well.
The camping looks like fun, what an adventure !

  5. Hiya Oskar – we're so relieved you're there to keep an eye on your lovely mom-person. Humans do often have dark days don't they – good job they've got us doggies to show them they way eh?

We hope you all have a great time – just relax and enjoy the moment (again, us doggies are king at living in the moment!) and we'll see you all soon. Glad you like your bandana – red is a good colour on you (FH told us to say that – it's all black and white to us, he he he!) Good choice to take a comfy pillow and a fun toy too – you think of everything!

Please give your mom a special schnauzer snuggle from each of us – JD and Max.

  17. Hope you had a nice holiday! We went up to a Creek too, so that Grammy and Papa could chill out after Grammy's hospitalization, and then Papa's Auntie's hospitalization and then the funeral. Life does get hard at times, and that's when we doggies really have our job cut out for us in loving them and getting them back to feeling better! The Country Corgis
