Today is the Livestrong Global Cancer Awareness Event.
I am writing this post in honor of my monnie (my human grandma). I’m very close to my monnie because when I was a baby dog I went to her house every day while my people went to work. Plus she spoils me more than anyone.

Monnie was diagnosed with breast cancer in November of last year. On December 10th she had an operation called a mastectomy. We were very, very lucky as the surgery got all of the cancer out & she did not have to have any additional treatment.
It was a terrible, scary time for our family & I am proud to say that my monnie is a survivor and is doing well. Stop today to send some pawerful prayers & healing thoughts to those people and pets who are affected & see what you can do in your community to help out!
