Now friends, we all talk about how much we hate the flashy box, but we’ve got to let our people take our picture sometimes, or else we wouldn’t have blogs, right?
Here is how I imagine the picture taking session goes in many households:

Friends, if you are giving off your best picture-face without the enticement of food, I say that you are giving in too easily, BOL!

We sometimes use a ball or a treat to get great pictures. Usually if I have the camera out and say "look at me," Riley will look right at the camera. She's a little weird though…she likes to have her picture taken!

Stanzie and I stopped responding to "cookie", because we didn't always get one everytime we smiled for the camera. Now mom has to make all kinds of funny noises, very embarassing in public!

We admit that we will give in without a treat a lot of the time (partly because mom is sneaky and partly because with so many of us we think it is important to be featured). Virgil is the best at posing for the flashy box, and Barney is good too. Kirzon and Lola didn't have to deal with it when they were young, so they aren't fans now, and Gus and Stella are kind of torn on it – Stella hates the flash and blinks a lot, but the tolerate it. And all for no foods whatsoever.
What?!? Work for free? Not here! Mom has to load her pocket up with treats if she expects anything from us! Union rules, ya know?
